i've recently posted that i would be FOR  deal that would send out rondo for the #2 and rudy gay. ok, i take it back!! i really don't WANT something like this to happen but i worry about the big 3's decline. mostly i think of kg.
are we maybe being too optimistic to expect the kg from the title season? by start of next season it will have been awhile on the body of a guy who plays like a maniac for soooo many games thru his career. it would probably be unfair to expect that same player. if he somehow is very close to that guy, then how long does that last. 1 more year maybe? is that now enough with ray and paul(who had a rough postseason overall)?
we hope paul's trouble was those spurs(makes sense) and logging just too many minutes. but i also looked at paul's performance as a preview of how age will effect him. still pretty [dang] good player there but, you get it.
it just seems difficult to actually judge how much these guys may have or will decline. how does ainge do that? especially in an off season?
what i love about danny is i truly believe he won't ley sentiment in the way of making the right move.it IS about the name on the FRONT first.
