This isn't a very good game (although very entertaining). Both teams make a lot of boneheaded plays.

And Gasol with only 5 shots after 3 quarters... he should call out Kobe and Jackson directly.

so uh george karl, any reason besides the fact that your an overrated coach behind why your freezing your best offensive player for 4 minutes to start the fourth quarter on the road in a tie ball game while you have 3 bigs who can't shoot on the floor?

My thoughts:

Denver's got the talent to beat LA all the way, but they don't have the brains.

Time and time again they shoot themselves at key moments...in bounds passes, bad shot selection (especially early-shot-clock 3's)...etc.

LA won't lose this series.

what a suprise, melo comes in cold and bricks his first shot.

good thing karl spotted the lakers 6 points with that boneheaded move, plenty of time for melo to get back in rythm!

that was seriously one of the dumbest coaching moves i have ever seen. I know after the game he;ll say "well, uh...i was trying to rest melo for the end of the game" but that only works when you have a lead george...resting your superstar while kobe destroys your non-scoring 3 big lineup is not such a good plan.
