New Orleans already traded Chandler once, maybe they would do it again.  The combo of Chandler and Perkins at center would be very good and having them both will allow them to rest more during the season and be more aggressive when on the court.

Ray Allen

for

Tyson Chandler and James Posey

if New Orleans wants to dump more salary throw in Brian Scalabrine and Morris Peterson

I'd pass on that one.  I've got a couple of friends who are big Hornets fans.  Chandler is spent.  They wouldve been thrilled to get whatever it was the OKC was offering(Joe Smith and some other stiff) last year.  No need to give up Ray Allen for damaged goods.
Chris Wilcox was the other player, not exactly a stiff, but certainly not a world beater and your friends were definately in the minority.  Most of the Hornets press felt they got hosed.

I realize Chandler has injury concerns, but if you get 24 minutes from Chandler and 24 minutes from Perkins, the C's would have the best defensive center rotation in basketball as both men could play harder and more aggressively knowing the other guy was around.

Now maybe if you are the C's you want more in return for Ray, but Ray is old and it showed in the playoffs this year, as he really played poorly most of the playoffs.
