Bingo! TP for saving me writing time at work. While the C's have certainly been guilty of complacency at times this year, it is their resiliency that makes them so lovable. It is somewhat reminiscent of the 2001 Patriots or the 2004 Sox. It would be a true blessing if their season ended with similar results.

Even though they lost in the ALCS, I hold the 2003 Sox in high regard in this category as well.  I loved that team.

Good point. I'm still so emotionally wounded by Bleep'n Boone that I often block that year out.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Personally,i have seen two sides to this team at 2different times of the season. In the beginning of the season i saw more of the traits as RH describes in other teams we carried. After KG,Powe and Scal went down, their attitudes and approach to the game seem more of the one Nick described, and more humbling. Its been a tale of two cities from start to the present.

I smell a story line if they face Denver in the Finals:

ATTITUDE vs ALTITUDE

(sorry, I couldn't shut off the mental editor in my head that was saying, "that's embarrassingly stupid, don't post it.")
