The Nuggets aren't high in the character department, certainly.  However, since they're the best chance to beat the Lakers, and they're fun to watch on the court, I'm not going to focus on that aspect.

Nuggs. Great offensive team, so-so on D. And I can get behind Chauncy B, a crafty point man. And I would mind at all if they came out of the West and took out Kobe and the Lebrons.

Non-Celtic championship choices:

Houston
Denver
Cle...Cle..Cleveland
La...Laaa....La...LLaakkk....Lak I can't say it.

Haven't liked KMart since he made fun of Mourning's kidney.  Hopefully he apologized for that one....

I also see no resemblance between Denver and GS of yore.  But GS that year was a nice story in an otherwise boring postseason....I was rooting for them to take it further.

Actually, Houston without Yao probably resembles that G.S. team more than Denver.

There's been nothing so-so about thier D so far in the playoffs, only clevland is playing better D right now.

Can't really say I have an issue with this Denver team (especially if they go on and knock off LA).

Never been a fan of K-Mart, though. But that goes back to my Nets hatred of the early '00s.

I don't see anything in common between the two.

Basically, both teams beating Dallas in a way that makes me loathe them.

The 2007 Golden State Warriors were the 8th seed facing the Mavs, a 1 seed. The Warriors would go on and upset the Mavs in the first round. Everyone was happy for GS, except ME. The way Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson were handling themselves in that series was classless. Since the Celtics finished off the season 24-58, I wanted Dallas to win the championship that year, but of course they lost to a bunch of punks.

Fast foward to this series vs. Denver.....Now, from what I heard, Mavs fans got into it with K-Mart's mom and Carmelo's fiancee, Alani "La La" Vasquez of MTV fame. No way do I condone what the Mavs fans did. But on the other hand, I've lost all respect for 'Melo, JR Smith, and the others on the team. Probably the only guy I like on that team is Chauncey. That's it.

I read some comment saying that both the Celtics and the Nuggets are a lot alike.
Uh....NO THEY DON'T!! At least KG, Pierce and Allen deserved a ring. In my opinion, Melo dosen't deserve anything. I would rather have Houston, Dallas, N.O., Portland, etc., winning it all over Denver any day.

if they can past L.A., good for them, but at the end of the day, i will still hate them with all my heart.

I will say this with the whole NBA playoffs....There's no love lost with any team playing. Not Denver-Dallas, not Houston-L.A., definitely not Boston-Orlando. I like that.

Even though I hate the Nuggets, I do feel bad for La La, Kenyon Martin's mother, and Kenyon's girlfriend, the rapper Trina.

I just hope nothin is escalated into a Pistons-Pacers style melee.

Dirk Nowitzki is the new KG. That guy deserves to win a title.
