The Mavericks shouldn't be whining about the no-call. They should have made the foul more obvious. Wright just gave Anthony a little bump.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Only problem is un this playoffs when a player makes a more aggressive foul they risk a flagrant 1 or a suspension. I still don't understand why Rondo gets so much flack for the Brad Miller foul. Celts were up by 2, Miller was driving for the lay in at the buzzer, so Rondo fouled him hard. Smart hard play. What was he supposed to give a soft foul and risk a 3 point play and blow the gm for the C's? Wright's foul wasn't that hard, but with the way the league is acting, what if he fouled Melo harder and got a flagrant 1 and blew the gm for the Mavs?

True, but regardless of the type of the foul, Wright HAS to know that if the whistle wasn't blown, then it's not a foul.  It's not like Melo blew right by him for a lay up.  He still had plenty of time to at least challenge the shot, but instead he was complaining to the ref while Melo hits one that he can make with his eyes closed.  The NBA blew it, but the player has some blame too.

The end of this game was straight up messed the heck up.  WOW is all I got to say?  Really?  If I was Mark Cuban, I'd legitimately press charges.

This had Donaghy written all over it.  And to think, Bennett is one of the boys - how is it possible for him to mess up that egregiously.  wow.
God bless and good night!

That's a good point about the fear of a flagrant.

Awesome shot and it doesn't really matter anyway because the Mavs were going to lose this series in any case.  The Nuggets are too hot right now.  Terrible way to lose a game though, very frustrating.

Antoine Wright has to blame himself first though, and the refs second, because if he wanted to intentionally foul he should have done so more clearly.

The referees probably let it go to see if Mello could hit 3 and screw Cuban out of an extra playoff home game. If Stern were ever to have an agenda, it would be against Mark Cuban. A foul should have been called but it wasn't. The league coming out with a statement a couple of hours after the game was a blatant in your face move to Mark Cuban. I feel the Mavs fans pain all the way up here in Kansas.

The league seems a bit crooked right now.

i got nothin but respect for Mark Cuban. ever since the Mavs were robbed of a title, i just wanted them to win. just stop it with the "Go Nugs" crap. yeah, they can beat the lakers, but it's whatever. the league wants a Cavs/Lakers final anyways.

The ironic thing is that I thought the refs were helping Dallas out the whole game. It looked like they slowed the pace down with fouls to help Dallas to keep it close to win it at the end.

The official take of the league is that the refs messed up, so apparently the bump was just fine.

;D ;D ;D If Stern were ever to have an agenda?  Are you kidding?  Have you watched any of the messiah's games this season?  The utterly disgraceful way he's officiated speaks to Stern's obvious agenda.

And Stern hates Cuban.  But Cuban deserves everything he gets.  He's a jerk.

For me its very clear that the league wants Kobe vs Carmello in the West finals.  How else do you explain Kobe only getting a flagrant 1 for the Elbow and this BS call at the end of the game.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16
