Pierce is quicker and more aggressive on offense, so far so good but he got embarrassed by Pietrus on that play. It's frustrating because I had the impression we could get a 5+ point lead in this quarter and now we are tied.

Yeah, really poor reaction to a simple ball fake. We have to have better D than that from the Capt.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I've counted at least 5 shots now that have been half way down.  What does this team have to do man?

And so much for defense...28 points allowed in one quarter?

Nice dish by Marbury, we've got to keep it up, down 3 is nothing right now.

We need to play better D.

Why are Crawford and Kennedy refs?

Gortat is playing great.

Tough first quarter, but we´re looking fresh(er).
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

seems every outside shot in orlando has rimmed out...thought boston had a real chance up 5 to push the lead...but the magic end on yet another run to close out the first...seems gortat can go over the back at will

i think we will know what we need to by the end of the first quarter...it is vital they get off to a good solid start

so, what do you think??? I don't like the way it's going, it reminds me of game 3...
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."- Paul Pierce

And he did finish...

Now the trick becomes staying in this game while not getting deeper into foul trouble in the 2nd quarter.  PP looks more mobile, but the foul situation is on the verge of getting out of hand.

One thing is clear -- 28 points per quarter allowed is not going to get it done. Out perimeter defense is atrocious again.
