AI would be an incredible 6th man, but I don't see him accepting it unless he hits bottom like Marbury.
Look at Marbury. He isn't deluded enough to believe he deserves to start at the moment. He is a mess at the moment. AI is still in good shape and can still do his thing. He hasn't been humbled yet.
Plus, Marbury has always been nuts, but AI has always publicly declared that rules don't apply to him and that he is bigger than the team. He doesn't need practice and he can't play off the bench.
Still, I imaging things would be different if AI was signed as a backup, because he would have publicly accepted the role from day one. Of course, once we lose a few, or win a few games with AI starting for an injured Rondo or Ray, he might get some ideas.
