we were in the lead with only minutes left and he blows away 2 of our posessions in the closing crunch time.

he should have never been on the floor. after those critical posessions thrown away rejected and i think a airball what do you have brad miller tying the game. it was clearly ours. ( hate to pile it on one guy but it is what it is, hell the blame could be given to doc as well if those were plays drawn up)

yea it was all him.... nothing to do with Rondo walking it up instead of attacking Miller who has 5 fouls, not PP who didn't recognize that he didn't have the hot hand. Defenitly TA.

I don't blame Tony.  I blame Doc for making the dumb decision to put him in.

I do not blame Tony Allen.  Our offense was sputtering and T. Allen just ended up with the ball with the clock winding down.  He had to shoot.

I think it was the 2 defensive lapses that allowed Miller to shoot the uncontested three and then follow it up w/ a lay-up that did us in.  The defense failed us.

The team blew our chances. Every player made little mistakes that cost us the game.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Good point.  Doc not only chose to take the red hot Glen Davis out in favor of the buffoon TA, he also neglected Ray Allen for big stretches of the game (I know it doesn't seem that way with the amount of points he put up, but it's true), and didn't let Rondo penetrate at all until Pierce fouled out.

The problem was taking Baby off the floor, not having Tony on the floor.

The RED HOT Davis?! The only guy out on that floor that was red hot was Ray. BBD had a nice game and it was stupid to put TA in there, however let's not over reach with BBD's production out there. He bobbled a couple easy ones there as well that should have been points.

TP Big AL, its just been a poorly played series for us and we keep making dumb mistakes. It's funny how the little stupid mistakes always haunt you the most.

We had so many chances to put it away throughout that game and we couldn't come up with the goods.
Just because TA had a couple of our final chances, doesn't mean he choked any more than anyone else.

  • Rondo = Good
Doc shouldn't have put TA in.  Furthermore, the rest of the team lost it in OT, too.  You can't just blame TA.

But he should never be on the floor the rest of the playoffs (maybe just the next game  :-\ ) unless we're winning by 15+
