I think that the Boston crowd didn't show up enough in the previous games.
I disagree about Game 5. The crowd was electric. Too often, the apparent crowd involvement is artificial, driven too much by the nonsense on the CelticVision screen. But in Game 5, we took control of our own destiny, effectively over-ruling the big screen and doing what sports fans do best. There is already an incredible buzz going on, building to tomorrow night. The North End and the Bullfinch Triangle will be a Celtics fan-fest and pep rally, starting hours before the game.
We are Celtics Nation, and at the Garden, we can make a huge contribution to one of the most powerful home-court advantages in sports. Although I'm not sure Rose will draw boos whenever he touches the ball, I give my personal guarantee that Hinrich, Miller, and Noah will be assaulted by the mighty voice of Celtics Nation; when they are introduced, whenever they enter the game, whenever they touch the ball, and whenever they stand at the free throw line.
We Celtics fans are a powerful force, with a long lineage. We know that. We will be loaded for Bull. There is no question. It cannot possibly be otherwise.
