He was on the Jumbotron frequently because he looked like freakin McLovin. come on dude.

That was definately McLovin, in the Espn.com recap of the game they have this.

Game notes
Capt. Richard Phillips of the cargo ship Maersk Alabama, which was captured by Pirates, was honored during a break in the second quarter and presented with a personalized jersey by the Celtics' owners. Other celebrities in the crowd included Christopher Mintz-Plasse of the movie "Superbad" and musical group Jada.

This person was not the actor that played McLovin. It's a lookalike.

Says who?  He was on the Jumbotron frequently, sure looked like the real deal to me.

I stand corrected... I didn't think it was actually him.

Quote
Tuesday night's hero was Captain Richard Phillips, the captain of the Maersk Alabama who was captured and held by Somali pirates. In addition to the usual trophy given to "Heroes Among Us" honorees, team owners Wyc Grousbeck, Steve Pagliuca and Bob Epstein also presented Phillips with a Celtics jersey emblazoned with his name and the number 17. While Captain Phillips received a standing ovation, it was nothing compared to the love shown for another special guest in attendance — actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Or, as he'll forever be known to the world, "McLovin." ...This is first playoff series in NBA history to go three overtime games.

The first time they showed him on the jumbotron he smiled and waved, the next time he didnt know he was on and when he looked up and noticed, he said a certain expletive and everyone could read his lips, was pretty funny. Late in the game they showed him again and he danced with Little House a bit. He got quite the reactions from the crowd, when they did the celebrity lookalike there was this one guy who looked exactly like John Cho.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin) is now my favorite actor.

Sure, The Lakers have a list of high profile celebrities, but we have McLovin!

Is Gabe drunk again?

He must be. He looks like he thinks he's getting put in the game.  ;D

The best part was when little House was jumping up on the table in front of McLovin, trying to get in the shot.

I guess it's already been proven that it was in fact McLovin, but here's my anecdote:

I live in Toronto, Canada and I was walking in a very chic part of town when I noticed McLovin and I walking directly towards each other. The street was strangely empty so it was just him and I. I'm not into the celebrity scene at all, but I definatly wanted to make sure it was him just so I could tell people later that night that "I saw McLovin". He's probably had enough of people calling him McLovin ever since Superbad, so he was careful to keep his head down (he was basically staring at the sidewalk as he was walking by me) and I noticed he was sporting a RED SOX baseball cap. I thought to myself, McLovin is a fan of the Red Sox? Anyways, just as we walked by each other I said "McLovin?" and he picked up his head and gave me a little smirk. It was hilarious.

Does everybody realize that he was born in Los Angeles? I mean, unless you are Paul Pierce how can you be born in California and become a Celtics fan?

He made a point of pointing out (while on the Jumbotron) that he was with his dad, and his dad had a lot of Celtics gear on. Maybe his dad is from the area.
