I have always wondered this? What does the NBA do with the money they fine Coaches and Players? Does it go straight into Mr Sterns pocket? I think any fine money should go directly to some sort of charity.

"The NBA and National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), per the league's collective bargaining agreement, equally split fines paid by players, then donate the respective shares to the charities of their choice. Only the NBPA has to approve of the NBA charities, and not vice-versa."

Charities are kept anonymous.
