There is a very, very, very, very small chance even the most buff and athletic wrestlers could make a NFL team, never mind a NBA team. They just don't have the special combination of height, speed, grace, and coordination. It takes a special athlete to be a professional basketball player. Through my personal experience of having played basketball in high school and college, I've found that basketball is one of the least transferable sports; meaning, just because you are good at baseball, football, track, or wrestling, does not mean your talents will equate to basketball. In fact, from what I've seen, it usually doesn't help very much at all. Basketball takes a unique skill set. For example, Could you picture Tom Brady, who is probably the greatest football player ever, playing professional basketball? Probably not. But I could see Paul Pierce playing football at a high level, probably not at a professional level, but I could totally see him dominating a DI high school game or competing well in a college game. I know that was somewhat of a biased and obscure example, as Tom Brady isn't Randy Moss or some other fast, tall and athletic player. But I still believe my theory to be true. I know in my high school years that the basketball players fared well in all other sports, whereas the baseball, football, and soccer kids were mostly "one trick ponies."
