That's terrible news. I pray he'll be OK and the team continues to stay strong through this extremely tough times.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Worst day since May 22, 2007...

celtics twitter says "Danny Ainge is recovering at MGH after having a minor heart attack. He is recovering nicely"
hope he gets well, can't say that it's a surprise though, anyone could have made the assumption (joking of course) that anyone who loves the celtics could've had a heart attack after the KG news..

In the off chance that Danny or someone from Danny's family reads this blog, perhaps this thread can be re-titled  'Best Wishes to Danny'  or something reflecting a fan gratitude and hope for full recovery thread...

He's in one of the best places in the world for heart issues.

Best wishes to Danny & Family

I wouldn't want anyone else running this team... Danny Ainge is a god to me.

I hope it isn't at all related to stress.   He's done a masterful job and deserves all the credit, but every time I see the guy he looks stressed out.  I bumped into him while I was walking around the arena the night the Celtics broke the all-time greatest start and he even looked stressed out and worried then.

If an artery was clogged, it was most likely cholesterol, not stress.

It is a really stressful job if you take it as seriously as he does.

Stress sucks!
