i think boston gets thorough rounds one and 2...orlando doesn't scare me at all...one concern boston has is foul trouble with bigs....but i like tony allen being able to come in and play a salmons, ben gordon or Tyrus Thomas...it saves pierce.....

Its going to be a blowout. Celtics in 5 vs Bulls. Celtics in 6 vs Magic. We're better than them, with or without KG.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Looking forward to John Salmons vs. Tony "Salmon and Mashed Potatoes" Allen.

This series might be a war.   Could be worse than the Atlanta series.

I was just listening to Simmons/Grande podcast and Simmons was mentioning that last week he had guaranteed that Chicago would beat Orlando in the first round.   Grande responded that apparently there was a lot of sentiment among people in the Celtics organization that Chicago was a possible 2nd round opponent.

Some people are even suggesting that Cleveland lost intentionally so that Boston would be stuck facing the Bulls in the 1st round.

It's not going to be easy at all.  Chicago beat us last month.  They have played better than us over the last two months since their trades brought in Salmons and Miller.  Without KG all bets are off... we could be out in round 1.

Bulls are a dangerous and deep team.

Ben Gordon gets his 20+ points and the last couple months he's shot over 46%.

Brad Miller is going to give you 12 points, 7.5 rebounds a game.

Salmons gives them 20 points.

Ty Thomas is one of those scary athletic players who gives them 14 points, 7 boards, 2 blocks and a steal

I think Noah is averaging like a double double since the trade...

And they have that young franchise point guard who continues to improve and gave them like 18 and 6 the last couple months.

It isn't a team I wanted to play.  For one it's a young team with some quick and athletic players that could cause us trouble... for another it reminds me a little of the Cavs last year in that they were a lot better than their record suggested and they started to come together late in the season after the players got use to each other following various trades.

The bulls are nothing like last years cavs....wouldnt they be more comparable to the hawks?   the hawks were certainlny better then there abysmal record (bibby trade)

The bulls are alot scarier then the 76ers, ill give you that, but they still suck, plain and simple, even there own fans say they suck...if we can not beat them without KG, we wouldve struggled against them WITH him and lost in the 2nd round

Ben Gordon will be shut down by Ray, D-Rose will be a defensive liability, Paul Pierce will be Paul Pierce (look at his playoff numbers for his career not even just last year) and Perk is going to be UP defensively.

There is no way on EARTH that Vinny freakin' Del Negro can outcoach the Rivers/Thibodeau combo package.  No way, no how.

Not to mention that our home crowd is going to be completely bananas.  We're gonna smoke 'em.  Celts in 5.

Ok, I think there has been a major overreaction here.  We are NOT losing against the Bulls in the first round, even without Garnett, our team is far more superior to theirs, from our starting lineup to our bench.
Orlando don't really frighten me neither, I still think we will take them out.
Cleveland obviously worry me, but, in the unlikely case we knock them out of the EC finals...we would lose against the Fakers I think, we have no one 7+ foot mobile enough to stop Gasol...

Anyways, I am absolutely gutted by what I have read today, being from Australia, I just got to work an hour ago (9am), logged in to CelticsBlog, to find that Danny has had a heart attack, then, as I scroll down more, that KG will not play, worst start to the morning EVER, I am even wearing my Celtics shirt @ the office today (casual Friday)...

But yeah, back to my original point, we are NOT losing against Chicago in round one, I'll bet anything on it.
