I don't know why seeing the letters POB makes me hungry for a PB&J sandwich.  Why do I associate the two?  Discuss.

Because like me, you had a sneaking suspicion that the Welch's mascot that dances to "peanut butter jelly time" at C's games is actually Patrick O'Bryant in disguise?

O'Bryant is the modern-day Scalabrine in this blog.  Just the latest whipping boy.

I think you have to stick around to be a whipping boy.

POB is what he is, a bust thats fresh in peoples minds.

Except for the fact that he's nowhere near as lovable.

Patrick O'Bryant is proof that if you're tall and quasi coordinated you can play professional basketball

But Patrick O'Bryant can't.
I'd take Paul Shirley over POB.

You guys have a short memory...Perk was the foul KING around here his first few years. Why is POB doing good there, he is PLAYING for one, and getting team/coach support for two...ya, hard things to understand.....What I saw, Tommy H saw, and many others here...who don't want to hear it from the masses, POB has game, very good on the post, very good shot blocker, very good passer, runs the floor well, decent outside shot.....argue it, hate him...hahaha, it is a fact...we could use him now that is for sure, especially if magic "doc" would have played him here.....the other players liked him, you'll see him next year, he will be playing, will come against Boston and have a monster game ( DOC wouldn't even play him against his old team when he was here, that is major league BS..!) (not even a minute) (BS..!) Don't get me going on doc, doc spelled backward is cod...LOL, he had so many chances this year to make a difference, he couldn't see tomorrow, barely yesterday...you guys ask so little from a coach, he is just a go along...ya, coach of the month for April, wasn't the Chicago loss in April..? Maybe it should have been Vinny Del Negro....a Spfld guy...!   I wish Doc was better, had more vision, we could hace easily kept POB here this year.....he was 7'.....that guy Thomas shot all over BBD, because he is too short...I like BBD, but you have to find a way to stop that stuff, like play him on the shot outside, POB covering the paint on the inside, you think POB would have let that fool Noah dunk on him...no I don't...Noah shouldn't ever dunk on the C's.....Chicago...geeze.....

oh yea, and six fouls...all of a sudden you guys LOVE the refs....oh yea, what, are they giving you a % of the take...the same refs we saw all year here, and now they have your faith....short memory or what.....We had hate the refs strings here 2 miles long....but you believe in them now...no wonder politicians fool you, all they have to do is say what you want to hear, then "do it" to you again.....

POB will be a very good offensive center, but i like my centers to have somemore gerth to them. But some people gotta give him a break, what do you want him to do shoot steroids?

although it is very funny/ ironic that Mikki Moore has the same exact problems that POB does but we think he's just fine becuase he's been in the league.

I think most on here do not think Moore is just fine.
