Going by your thread title, Todd Day is as good as Larry Bird, too. ;)

Pretty amazing quarter for Bynum, though.  He wasn't ready when he was with the Celts, but he has the talent to be a contributor in this league.  He's certainly better than some of the other scrubs we've held on to over the years (Allan Ray, Orien Greene, etc.)

He reminds me in a lot of ways of Tony Allen, or maybe Flip Murray.  When he is given the ball, and the green light, he can really do some things.  Now, if he were to become a true focus of an offense, he is not good enough to be effective once teams start gameplanning for him, and on a really good team, he can be a real liability with his at times, reckless play.  However, put him on a mediocre team, and let him basically do what he wants when he is on the floor, and he is going to be a productive and exciting player.  Just don't expect to win too many games.

He's definitely making the most of the opportunity.

Rodney Carney too.
Yup

Rodney Carney too.

Yeah, Carney is looking really good.  I really liked him coming out of college, and was surprised that he struggled so much in Philly, and then early in Minnesota.  He's playing like the player I thought he was (but not before I dropped him in my fantasy keeper leagues).

Between getting Big Al and then Carney, Love and Mike Miller (hasn't done as well) this Summer, I think McHale has done a pretty good job rebuilding recently. I think he gets a raw deal when people say he was one of the worst GM's. You also never know how an owner may or may not be meddling with picks or contracts or trades. But recently I think Kevin did ok.
