Well....I was bored, and lookin around cutting edge on demand...and...

I decided to give Home Movies a shot. Some of my ston-..pepperoni pizza loving friends...have been telling me for years that its a good show, but I'd watched it and thought to myself "This probably sucks"...

Well I gave it another shot and I loved it. Its Jon Benjiman from Lucy Daughter of teh Devil, which i love...so I thought I'd give it a shot.

It was an episode about summer camp and it was hilarious.

So I thought...you know...there are a bunch weirdos like my on CB...and they probably write off TV shows for the same reasons I do..and if they're wrong, they probably like the shows for the same reasons I do.

So Im starting off...

Home Movies-Wrote it off as stoner comedy (those types of shows that are never really funny unless you're eating pancakes), but later decided to give it a shot. Lots of language jokes, semantics witty kinda humor which I like...and they're loser white kids..and there have been times where we've all felt like loser white kids.-IP

Sex and the City but I think the chick you watch it with makes a pretty big difference.

Roseann when I was a kid.

I was a little nervous about that show about the kid who has to catch souls for the devil, but it's ok

At some point I'll probably give House another chance

The Simpsons way back in the day. I saw it on the Tracey Ulman show and it didn't wow me.

All three of those shows yes, and I actually needed a second episode of 24 back in season 2 to get on board. But I did, and I'm glad.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
I needed some time to come around on My Name is Earl in the 2nd season...and then it lost me in the 3rd and I stopped watching again.  I thought I would hate Venture Brothers, but it's turned out to be one of my all time favorite shows.

As for Home Movies, that's a top ten tv program for me.  Coach McGuirk, as well as Walter and Perry, are never not funny.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I've given that show three chances and keep not liking it, but everyone I know whos opinion I really trust on comedies say its great... I might give it a fourth chance. They're also bringing in Joe Lo Truglio for the new season, might change it up a bit.

I don't know if this really counts, but the first few times I tried to watch 24, I just couldn't get into it, because I had no clue what was going on.  Then a few years ago, I was able to watch the entire season, starting from episode 1, and absolutely loved it.

I have the same problem with Lost, but know I will be addicted when I finally cave and buy the DVDs.
