ya know, this team is still one of the better teams in the league without KG, and even leon, scal etc...its crazy..

Its crazy because with a completely healthy KG and team we needed a last second paul pierce jumper to beat the Josh smith-less hawks early on in the season, and only beat them by 3 completly healthy in atlanta.....and with KG out we've actually handled the hawks better the last 2 games...weird?

But without those guys we become more like the Spurs, who I don't think try to overpower you every night.  Without a full roster have to pick our moments, like that Cavs game at home, where our healthy players hit on all cylinders.  When we start running Garnett and Powe into the mix as well, well, I just can't wait!!!

Tony just brought joy to my heart with that great steal!

Edit - and with that nice pass to BBD, he deserved to get an assist for that one.

Gino is coming! ;D

I think that the numerous games played without KG will just help the team to play very well when he'll be on the bench during the playoffs. It's a great thing to see this team chemistry, the team is having fun and so are we.

Beautiful 4th quarter and 2nd half overall.  Sweeping these guys is one of the nicer small successes of the year.

  • Let's Go Celtics
Sounds like the Bruins just scored a goal in there with that song playing.

I hope they make a long playoff run this year.  Last year that first week was awesome when they won that OT game and then the Celts opened up the next night.  The building and the city will be rocking for a month or two.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Big Baby  :o Just tuned in and the first thing I saw was Big Baby just sending that ball into the stands. I thought it was Perk there for a minute.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
