I didnt realize that Detriot held the 7th seed.  Thatd be hilarious if what Van Gundy said happened and Orlando fought the 2nd seed from us just to play Detriot and get eliminated by them AGAIN.

Love my C's great effort. But F the NBA, Pierce gets hacked about 4 times with no calls. Just keep the game close to make more entertaining and for a more interesting playoffs.

Ladies and gentleman, your Boston Pistons!

Seriously.  This crap effort for the first 30 minutes of the game is becoming a disturbing trend.  It's like they think they can just turn it on at a moment's notice and pull the game out, and that has consistently not worked this year.

I really hope the fire returns during the playoffs, because this level of effort is going to make the first round an adventure.

What happened to giving ray allen the last shot? The celtics didn't even look for him in the last 2 minutes... we've seen the Pierce show before, it didn't work... that's why we got KG and Allen...

In fairness to Doc, it seemed that Allen was option #1 on the first inbounds with ~3 seconds left.

I think Simmons needs to mount a campaign against Doc Rivers' blatant failure regarding the KG situation.  Come on Sports Guy, we need you!!

you dont know the extent of that knee, and neither do we. i could give a rats behind less about beating the magic if he tweaks it again.

rather have a healthy KG and the 3 than a re-tweak playing to much and an early trip home in the playoffs.

[dang it]! I'm sick and tired of watching Orlando build massive leads only to collapse and nearly give the game away, and then eek by with a win. Orlando is not a championship caliber team at all. They remind me of a weak Lakers.

Its not the team. We still have injuries which means dumb mikki plays & old crusty I mean rusty Marbury playing.

its nto an excuse, its an observation. I think if you have KG play his normal 34 minutes there instead of giving 18 useless minutes to a combo of mikki moore and BBD, who has regressed mightily over the last 3 games as he tries to play outside his role with leon gone, we win this game against a good team.

whats so earth shattering about that?
