Dear Celticsblog faithful,

In case you haven't checked the standings today, you will be thrilled to know that your ne're-do-well Walker Wiggles have taken the H2H regular season.

Although we needed every bit of our 21 game lead, and finished in the most modest and dramatic of fashions - with a desperation Brian Cardinal play, a 5-5-1 tie with Champkind at risk of even a single Yahoo stat correction, and a ONE game final lead over Kwhit's club.

Said team captain Ray Allen, "At this point in the season it is one game at a time, so we put all our effort and energy into preparing for the semi-finals, and we’ll talk after that.”

The regular season victory is dedicated to Celticsblog and all closet Hakim Warrick and Corey Maggette fans everywhere. And we only ask that in the coming week all of you say a small prayer for Josh Howard's cortisone shot...

CB fantasy my team is ready to crush Hobbs even if i am plaing with 3 against 6 today,

I come to bury my teams, not to praise them.

Finishing at 9th of 20, 7th of 20, and 3rd of 12, this is my worst fantasy basketball season since my ignominious 2004 squad, "Ainge = GM of Year," placed 6th out of 9 teams.

Things are looking up for next season, though, I can feel it.

Unfortunately, GM Ya'll Hate will need to send his assistant to the GM, Dwight K. Schrute to present that trophy.  YH's GM is busy focusing on the points league, although if YH is able to overtake Roy Hobbes in the points league, he will gladly allow the Wiggles to present a LARGE trophy at that time.


on another note, how about YH DOMINATING celticsblog fantasy.  Staff league for Football - YH wins, despite not being a staff member.
Inaugural fantasy baseball keeper league - YH wins the regular season only to fade in the playoffs (let that be a lesson, WW)
Now the dominance in the basketball leagues...

If there are any openings in that baseball league - I want in.  You are a respectable fantasy owner YH...I will give you that.  I have the feeling "Make Me Some Bacon" will be right up there next year in the basketball leagues though.  I have a lot of young talent and draft picks on the way up!

No, actually I could've lost the week 5-6, by a single steal, and still finished in 1st by a half game. And you've only got yourself to blame for not benching your worst shooters Sat/Sun...

But you're right that the regular season was only won by a nose. Congratulations on earning a bye week (I imagine you share my sigh of relief. We can forget about that red hot Roy Hobbs/Dwayne Wade duo for a week.) and good luck in the Semis.

I'm proud that I took over a team that finished 13th in the CelticsBlog H2H league last year and managed it to a 4th place regular season finish and a spot in the play-offs.

I think I did a great job making my team (that I took over) a play-off contender next year, via trades and FA in the H2H CB league.
 My team is in last place this year 20th and it will be a top 6 team next year making the play-offs!!!

Your team is certainly better then 20th.  Whether you will win 80+ more games next year then you did this year would certainly be quite the turnaround.

Dear Celtics Blog H2H league members. Draft picks are useless especially if you're in the lottery. You should trade them to KG's All-Stars.  ;D
