Congrats to him on his 10,000 point yesterday. Me and my girlfriend went to the Cavs vs. Hawks game yesterday (she's a die hard Cavs fan  :-\ ) Good game to watch though but not until the last two minutes ugh, anyway, now if I can just get her to come to Boston to watch a C's game with me :P

Yeah, despite the fact that his name sounds like a terminal illness, the guy's a good player.

Plus, listening to Marv Albert speak his name is one of the great entertainments in the league.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

hes a good player whos always reminded me of rik smits...but really....the celtics should be able to turn him into a liability everytime they play the cavs, and its unnacceptable if they dont...hes a huge slow lumbering stiff without alot of stamina..theres no way he should be able to keep up with anyone in our frontcourt and should be easily worn down after playing 20 minutes
hes a great offensive rebounder and shooter, who should be able to turned into a liability against just about every team in the nba

He seems to play solid basketball against every team in the league. I think your claims are unfounded.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

nothing more than a 7'2 spot up shooter....his lack of play in the paint is prolly why boston scored 52 inside on them without KG

He seems to play solid basketball against every team in the league, because he stays within himself, shoots the jumper and is 7'2, and oh yeah has this guy named leBron james playing with him
Keep in mind, I said Ilgauskas is a good player, did I not? but you should be able to expose him in just about every game.. beat him up the floor, draw fouls off of him, wear him out by pushing the ball so by the 4th quarter hes useless...its not like he already isnt if his jumper isnt going in (which most of the time it is against the celtics, because theyll live with big z jumpers all day)

The cavs are a young athletic team that lumbers up and down the court most of the time because of big z

Z is more than just a spot up shooter.  Hes a great shooter and also has some decent moves down low, which includes a pretty good hook.  Even though hes slow, hes a lot better than people give him credit for and it always irritates me when people use to say that Lebron has 'no help whatsoever' on his team.  I would have KILLED for Paul Pierce to have a big man like Z on the C's back in the '03 to '06 days.

no its becuase they double teamed PP and then there was 1 big man against our 2.
