I doubt they are trying to get playoff road games BUT I think there could be an arguement for:
the celtics knowing the cannot catch cleveland for best record in east with the mass injuries the c's currently have, what is the difference between a #2 seed or #3?
rest everyone that needs it get pt for walker, powe, marbury, moore etc and come playoffs have everyone healthy/rested etc

If when KG and crew gets back and suddenly ray and paul have back spams etc  ;)
then we'll know doc & danny are thinking ahead

I don't actually mind the Cs getting the second seed, as I think they can win a game in Cleveland and I'd just as soon avoid meeting Miami or Atlanta in the second round anyway. But if the idea is to rest people at this point and surrendering the #1 seed, that aint happening: Allen and Pierce each logged almost  40 miseralbe minutes yesterday.
