oh my god......this show seriously needs to come with a disclaimer that it may cause extreme anxiety/ emotional damage.

Yeah.  There was a lot packed into that one.  They're making it pretty explicit that in the end, there's nothing glamorous about drug-dealing.

Spoiler...

...

warning... Spoiler...

I hope nobody was stupid enough to misinterpret the phone call at the end of tonight's episode.  The Police were already on the way after his son called.  He took Holly knowing it would set off an Amber Alert and the Police would be recording when he called.   Everything he said in the phone call was intended to clear Skyler of any wrongdoing.  She's been a willing participant during this entire thing and is absolutely not blameless... but Walt painted a picture of him being an abusive, sick, evil husband who forced her into it.   SKyler knew what Walt was doing.  Walt knew that Skyler knew what Walt was doing.  It should have been blatantly obvious to anyone watching... but I feel like it probably whooshed over some viewers head.  "OMG... he went full Heisenburg!!"

Yeah, I agree it was pretty obvious, but will fool some people.

The only thing I disagree with is that I don't think his initial reason for taking Holly was to set off the Amber Alert.  I think initially, he grabbed her because he wanted to keep a piece of his family.  I think that later (during the "momma momma" scene), he changed his mind, and set the course of events you mentioned into action.

Agreed. He changed his mind when Holly called for her mom. Then he came up with the great way out for his family.

I think it went over a friend of mines head.

I also thought it was very blatantly obvious.

Am I the only one laughing at Jesse's new life?

So I can only see this really going two ways.  We already know his family is probably in witness protection.  The house was abandoned (hence the "Heisenberg" written on the wall... probably some teenagers wrote it).  Saul's guy hooked him up with a new life.  We saw in the flash forward he comes back for ricin.

We know that Jesse is being kept as a meth-cooking slave.

So it can only really go two ways.

#1 - Walt's had a change of heart and is coming back for one final redeeming act of freeing Jesse and killing the Nazis.

#2 - Walt's coming back to finish the job and kill Jesse since the Nazi's lied to him and refused to do it.  And Walt probably kills all the Nazi's for disobeying him in one final act to solidify his legend.

Either way, he probably dies of cancer when that's over.

This show is just.. Wow. Amazingly good. Never been so invested a story, and that's coming from someone who binged to finish Lost in 2-3 weeks.

I can't wait to see how Walt gets to NH and why he comes back at all.

I feel so awful for Jesse. And this is coming from a guy who wanted him dead in a ditch last week. A simple bullet to the back of the head would have been justice enough for snitching on Walt. Seeing him chained up like a rabid dog, cooking for those scum bags breaks my heart.

Also, Walt telling Jesse that he let Jane die- Whoah. (My sister actually asked me when that happened who Jane was and I told her to go in the other room and watch the Kardashian's) That was just plain evil.

I wonder what's motivating Walt to come back to Albuquerque in the flash forwards. Maybe word gets to him that the blue meth is back on the streets and he knows Jesse is still alive and wants to finish the job?

And one more thing...As good as that episode was with the writing and the acting (Definitely solidified Emmy's for Cranston and Paul) I feel traumatized by everything. I knew the series couldn't have really ended too good for anyone but I had no idea it would get this dark. It's horrible seeing characters that I've grown to know so well the past 5 years in a living hell. I hope things turn around for everyone (except Marie, she can go ahead and kill herself) but things don't look to good for Heisenberg and company  :'(

It's all downhill for Television in two weeks when Breaking Bad ends. I know i'll never see anything like it again my lifetime and i'm only 20.

Me too, I had thought the show ended when I actually started watching. Luckily, I've been really good about not spoiling anything for myself (Unlike the Walking Dead, I ruined that show for myself last season) but caught up to breaking bad the night after the mid-season finale.. It's been a long wait for new episodes lol.

Here's my take. The Nazis promised Walt that they will kill Jesse. During his year away in New Hampshire, the "blue meth" becomes a nationwide epidemic. Which leads Walt to realize that the Aryans are using Jesse to cool the meth, since he's the only other person besides Walt that knows the formula. And being the big egotistical maniac that he is, Walt comes back to New Mexico with the M60 to kill the Nazis and reclaim his legacy.

Another possible outcome could be that the Nazis comes back to Hank's house to reclaim the tape that Jesse and Hank made to convict Walt, and Walt's family happens to be there so they kill them, Walt comes back for revenge.
