In other news Toine's Boys and the Draft Dodgers agreed to a  - late breaking - trade this morning.

Without team workouts, summer league, the start of training camp, I'm flying in the dark on this one. A real toss up. But hey this is the highest pick I've ever held.

From where I sit, Babbitt didn't show anything in his rookie season (36 points in 24 games, and a 27.3% FG%), so I don't think he's worth close to the 14 pick.  However, I've been wrong before, and who knows?  He could break out.

(b) would be stupid of #8.... Our champ this year was #7, the year before #8 lost in the finals to #2.

Also, if I was a truly mediocre team, and had the choice between the #8 seed (playoffs) and #9 seed (1st pick in the draft), I'd subtly tank every time.  A potential star is worth a lot more to me than a first round playoff loss.

Except aren't you the low seed in both of G.C.'s examples, Roy?

I'm not making an argument either way. The fact just tickled my funny bone.

yes he is ... I thought it was a long-shot suggestion, but I like the idea of giving everyone something to shoot for w/ the #9 seed rather than wallow. I think it also is a case of the rising tide lifting all boats... the more the teams at the bottom are trying the more action there is in trades, waiver wire, etc.

Hey Lucky, the GoogleDoc of my roster says I have Gallinari, but I think he's on Hobbs' team (he's on his roster as well).  I believe Eddie House (sigh) is the guy that should be in that spot.

Also, are matches scored by category wins, or is it an all-or-nothing thing where you either win or lose with no variation?

1. Corrected the Gallinari listing.

2. Processed the Babbitt trade.

3. Rebus is on notice. If I don't hear back from him by this weekend, Kane will be inheriting his team.

Wednesday noon doesn't work for me (I can do it starting at 2, or starting at 10 or 11), but I can just make my pick via PM if necessary. 

I have the same schedule Monday + Friday - Tuesday/Thursday I can start anytime up until 3 or so.
