The official order of the NBA draft goes:

1. Los Angeles Clippers
2. Memphis Grizzlies
3. Oklahoma City Thunder
4. Sacramento Kings
5. Washington Wizards
6. Minnesota Timberwolves
7. Golden State Warriors

As a result, the order for the top 5 selections in our points league for next year are:

1. Edgar Cortors
2. Indeed Proceed
3. Redz Cellar Hell
4. GomesFan
5. Wide Loaders

The order for the second round is not affected by the draft lottery, so Redz will have the first pick of the second round, GomesFan the second, and so on.

Contrats to Edgar!

I sent emails via the league page to everyone about a possible schedule of events leading into next year's season. Here was my initial thought:

July 1: confirmation of all GMs, offseason trading reopened (via Celticsblog)

early Sept: fantasy draft for rookies

late Sept: in-season trading open

early-mid Oct: team roster cuts made and team inputted into Yahoo!, free agents/waivers available

late October: season starts

If anyone knows of someone with a decent track record in fantasy sports who might want in on our league, please send them my way.

I would really like to have all 20 active GMs lined up before July.

We are full up, thanks to our newest GMs, Gainesville Celtic, eja117, and littleleehi.

The trading floor is open; players and draft picks in the upcoming draft are fair game.

We'll hold our rookie draft in September, after Labor Day. We'll set a date later. Watch this thread for league and trade announcements until Yahoo! opens up registration for next fantasy season.

If anyone wants a list of league rosters, send me PM with your preferred email address.

Any questions? Just send a PM, or post here.

To get things started, I'll say that I have no draft picks, but would be interested in moving into the mid-to-late first round, or possibly even the early 2nd.

If you're selling a pick, let me know via PM.

Just resurrecting this thread to get the league on everyone's radar.

I'd like to hold the rookie draft at some point in early September. We'll need to do it via a dedicated thread. I was thinking of the days or the week just after Labor Day.

Thoughts?

I'm going to be giving up my team in the points league this year.  If anybody is interested in taking my squad over, please PM me or Lucky.  It's a pretty decent team, although it stars an injured Yao Ming.

Still, it's got D. Wade, Carmelo, and a lot of other talent.

But Roy, if you leave, who will I deal my oft-injured stars to?

EDIT: Ah, Gomesfan.  That's right.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Haha.  Well, I dealt oft-injured stars for other oft-injured stars.  Losing Sessions was a blow, though.

I guess this is as good a time as any to confirm that I will not be keeping the team I stood in for at the end of last season.  Happy to do it on an interim basis, but I'm trying to cut back on this sort of thing.

OK, I'll actively look for a replacement GM for you, Redz. Thanks for stepping in when you did. If you have someone in mind to take over for you, let me know.
