I am thinking about buying NCAA basketball 09?

I was wondering if anyone on here has played the game and if so how is it? I was thinking about going and getting it but i am not sure if i should let me know what you guys think of the game

I liked it, but its very basic on the court. you either take the three or drive into the shot blocker for a layup, and all the animations are the same.

I would say its good, not great. I gamefly'd it so I enjoyed it...not totally sure i would feel the same way if i had spent the full 60 bucks onit.

Played the demo, already have dawn of war 2 so all set with getting it with halo skins.

thought the demo was ok, a solid RTS, but since im not a huge halo guy, didn't impress me overly much. I could see how if you liked halo it would be very enjoyable though.

I live and breath Halo. Its not the greatest RTS ever, but I have to say it's solid enough for people that like this format.

i traded in a bunch of games today and had a gift card...

so i purchased mlb 2k9, halo wars and hawx...those should keep me busy. :)

also, ncaa basketball sucks...it has no personality and doesn't feel like anything more than an arcade game.  not worth the money at all.

i actually just bought this game a couple days ago.  so far it's been alright - the gameplay doesn't compare to that of nba 2k9 (maybe that has something to do with me starting a franchise with santa clara), but your choices are limited for college basketball to say the least, haha.

if it's about the gameplay, just stick with nba 2k9; but if you're really dying to play at the college level like i am/was, then you'll probably be satisfied with the purchase.

there are some guys at operationsports.com that have updated rosters for last year's 2k8 college hoops game.  they're still a work in progress, but they got all the names changed, and last i saw they were working on updated player attributes.

if you have xbox live you can grab the online file...
