You can't look at a highlight reel and use it to call him better than BBD.  Highlight reels are made from good plays, not bad ones.  Patrick O'Bryant even looks good in a highlight reel, that's how little that means.

Yeah they don't make highlights of people missing.  And he is a better offensive player than BBD and is WAY more athletic.  He is for sure a player that benefits from playing on a good team with good players, i.e. when he played with Jason Kidd.  He'd be a good fit here, but I don't think he, or Joe Smith is the answer to helping us out.

Various sources are reporting that he's already been waived, but that still means we won't know anything for a month, right?

The Celtics, or any team other than the Kings, can sign him after he clears waivers, which takes 48 hours, I believe.  If for some odd reason he wanted to go back to Sacramento, he would have to wait 30 days.

 :o I am in awe right now... I just watched that whole video... and I was thinking to myself wow I've heard this song before (A friend of mine made a video of a bunch of my friends and I playing basketball). Sure enough when it got to the end of the video I saw two things (LilPharmacist, and StroShow) and I know that the Mikki Moore video happens to be made by my friend... small world.

As far as i know we only have 2 available roster spots. I really hope that Danny doesnt waste one on this guy.

Good point -- I don't think so.  But do you agree the Celtics need to sign another big man?  The options are pretty limited if so.
