The Rockets are trying to get VC and T-Mac on the same team? Why?

online, or is there a link?

On a related note: NBA coast-to-coast reported last night the Clips turned down a deal of B Davis and KamAn for Kidd.

My son told them it works out great when you pair them on his xbox.

I think it has more to do with Artest and T-Mac reportedly not getting along...and since no one wants T-mac, they are looking to replace Artest with someone who can help them win now.  As soft as Carter is, he could certainly help that team win.

I don't see VC making Houston better.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Both teams would be better of Doing TMac for Vince. The Nets get a scorer back, albeit an oft injured one, and the Rockets get a scorer back who will probably be healthy come playoff time.

That has the makings of a truly brilliant trade for Houston.

When they played together in Toronto, weren't they in the playoffs?

Isn't Ron's deal a one-year? cause if so it'd be a good future move for the Nets, they could free up some cap space at the end of the year.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
The Houston locker room is apparently a mess right now.  They need to do something to shake that team up, although I'm not sure that Vince is the answer.

What's the rest of the package to make salaries work?

Why would the Nets do this? Who's TBA?

He would provide the needed scoring  when T-Mac is out or on the bench.T-Mac is injured a lot, maybe he could get rested up for a playoff push with Carter taking his place for a month or so.

Wait a minute.  I though Yao, TMac and Artest were the new Big Three, and were gonna do exactly what the Celtics did last year?

Why would the Nets do this? Who's TBA?

Because, if healthy, how many teams can defend T-Mac, Carter and Yao?

Good move for the Rockets.
