Looks like we could be without the services of Brian Scalabrine until after the All Star break. KG is down for another game or two with the flu and now Tony Allen is reportedly out again, now with the Flu. These three didnt get flu shots according to Doc.
Glen Davis is holding down the PF spot so far, but there's not much depth behind him after Leon Powe. Will we see some POB or even more minutes for Perk, Baby and Powe? Tony Allen out again will open up more minutes for Gabe Pruitt again I hope.
With these three down, we will see Bill Walker, J.R. Giddens and Sam Cassell all dressed for a game or two. Will they see any minutes? Should they see anything beyond garbage time? If Danny has any desire to trade Giddens, shouldnt he get a few minutes? If he doesnt then why not? He still doesnt get it?
My predictions: KG back in uniform for the Lakers game regardless. He then plays light minutes in the 2nd of back to back against the Knicks and finishes out strong against the Spurs, Hornets and Mavericks. Brian Scalabrine and Tony Allen are still out at the break. We win 5 out of 6 with the most likely loss being a toss up between the Knick and Hornets. Walker plays a few minutes and Sam makes an appearance. Perk, Baby and Leon play a lot of minutes and do just fine. Pruitt combines with House in the second unit back court and we get a couple of more 20+ point outings from Eddie.
