I really liked Reggie as a player, and think it would be kind of cool to see him in green.  However, he hasn't played since 2005, when he shot a pedestrian 32.2% from distance.

We can do better than a one dimensional shooter who hasn't played in three and a half seasons.

Yeah, Reggie is through.  Besides, our 3 point shooting is pretty solid. Ray, Pierce, and Eddie House are all VG 3 point shooters. Pruitt too when he gets the shots. Even Scal can hit it decent.

i love reggie miller . i think he could be great for the locker room. i think he's as good a leader if not more than any of the big 3. that's not a knock at all. reggie is just soo cool headed. it's just his makeup. i think that kind of gets contagious. where as garnett is a little nuts(would'nt want him to change) reggie is maybe a tad more cerebral than paul. i don't care if reggie plays a minute. i'd love to have him on this team. we  probably do have higher priorities though. i don't think reggie should have anything to do with scal though. i still don't want scal  in any  critical playoff game.
Until we add another wing player, it seems Tony Allen is our alternative. Doc certainly isnt going to play Walker or Giddens there. Pruitt is a possibility, but we just dont have a decent backup wing or long big to get those minutes.

he won't come. The only team that he would ever play for again is the pacers.

I have high respect for guys like him and cal ripkin who rather stay/retire with their team for life championship or not

lets move on

I saw Reggie lose a 3 point contest last year against Kenny the Jet Smith, and he's been out of the league for almost a decade. Unfortunately, Reggie is not the type of retiree to stay in bball shape in retirement. He's long past bball shape and it would take one time of being posted up by BBD and he'd be sidelined for his entire season return.

Eddie Jones came to mind for a shooter. Also Philly has Kareem Rush. Whatever happened to Zhizhi Wang? He's still in China and could be a big for us to grab rebounds and stretch the floor
Can't stop, Rondo!

We definitely need a shooter. But not one who's packing an AARP card.

Reggie is done.  Let him be.

The targets should be

1) Large PG that allows House to be the SG
2) A backup C

Let Scali take the Posey role (with less minutes)
