We dressed Sam and not Walker? Dumb.
Depends. Walker could have gotten nicked up or been lazy in practice. He's only a garbage time player so whether or not he dresses isn't something we can judge much.
if walkers only a garbage time player that still a step up from a NEVER PLAYS player, i understand that we're waiting on him for the second half, but what's the point of dressing him? he plays the one position that we hare full of, Guard. we're short on threes.

Cook isn't shy.

Well, so much for resting our starters or Orlando. Time to tough it out.  >:(
Miami is playing pretty well lately. They did well on their west coast road trip and they've had a tough schedule lately but they're still winning their share of games. I'm just glad Perkins looks pretty good today. We'll need him tomorrow.

19 freakin turnovers to miamis 8

We should be getting blown out, and dont even deserve to win this game. tottally unacceptable amount of turnovers

your a tough man to please, we are still going to win by 15 plus and never let them come back to within single digits since the first. i wish we had won by 30 and protected the rock better too, but maimi isn't NJ.

not every game can be an epic tail swatting ya know?

Im happy with the win, but the turnovers are concerning me for the future..do we still lead the league in turnovers? its just a pet peeve, as it should be to anyone who plays/coaches/watches basketball
21 turnovers? i mean cmon thats terrible

Doc has rewarded/punished players in the past by dressing them based on practice/effort. Might be the case here. Doc has a very good track record with young players so I give him the benefit of the doubt here.

he also might not have wanted him to try and go 1 for 1 with Beasley.

This isn't new though, so I'm not as worked up about it as you are. But yes it is my number one concern for this team.

TP for chatting through the game with me!

Yup or maybe he didn't make 1:00 lights out. Who knows. Anyways we didn't get garbage time until 2:00 minutes. So no biggie.

Good game, solid win. Too many turnovers kept it close but they never got within 10 after the first quarter. Can't argue with that too much against a playoff team on the road!

Now for the Blazers/Cavs game!

Tony Allen must be so miserable right now, his job is becoming more and more lost by the day.

Hm, dunno 'bout that. You know Doc and his set rotations ... (Late to the dance. Good win, despite sloppy 2nds).

I've never seen so much ass kissing from an opponent's broadcast team towards the Celtics' organization.

Yeah, I think its something in this realm. I don't know if it is necessarily a punishment, but it may be a bit of a motivational tool.

For some reason, I just get the feeling that Doc really wants to play Walker, but I think he is going to also be very hard on him, and demand near perfection...particularly on things like knowing the system...before throwing him out there.  After his first game (which was good IMO), Walker looked a little lost out there.  I think Doc will wait until he proves in practice that he is "ready", rather than letting him try to prove he can be sufficient in garbagetime.

Well it makes sense from the point of view that the Celts/Heat had similar paths to titles. A big trade, defense first, and a tougher year being the defending champs.

But overall I didn't mind them nearly as much as the Raptors or Nets announcers....

Was this a weird game from KG and Pierce? their heads deffinetly seemed elsewhere, they played decent but it was really everyone else

also, why when BBD plays bad he gets eaten alive from us, but Powe, who has been playing as bad as ive ever seen him gets let off the hook? whats up? he didnt deserve minutes in the 2nd half and he didnt...baby played very well in short minutes
Also, Perk didnt look too sharp, but thats not shocking considering the time off..hopefully he gets into more of a groove tommorow, we're gonna need it
