I just read in the Herald that Pierce is doubtful for tonight's game against the Raptors.  :(  Pierce is a warrior so I have a feeling he'll try to give it a go.  I'm worried that this might linger though.

I hope the rest of the guys can still win this game.

Personally, I hope he doesn't play. I think we can win this game without him and I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Time for Walker to shine. Walker could do well against the Raptors. Need someone who can match up with Moon / Graham. Also think they will play Kapono to force the mismatch with House or Rondo meaning Pruitt or Giddens could see minutes if they dress.

If Pierce doesn't play I expect to see a lot of Pruitt too.

Well, Ainge said they were both dinged up, and needed some rest last Thursday.  However, neither was so injured they couldn't play, it was more just a chance for them to decompress a bit after playing regularly in the D-league.  My guess is they both will be available tonight, if they are needed.

i think just as bodies theyll be needed. if TA is still out, and paul sits, that leaves us awful thin at the small forward spot.

Especially against Toronto, who like to go small and spread the floor with shooters, meaning, even if Perkins is playing, Scal will probably see minutes at the 4.

If PP's out TA will probably come back early. If not, I sniff an opportunity for one of the rookies. Scal will probably start, at SF, but he can't play as many minutes as Pierce.

I doubt the risk tony's health for a mid season game against the raptors. If he's ready he'll play, if not he wont.

there's also another factor here. if we are looking to make moves, it would be helpful to let at least one of these guys get some burn...

the story this morning is that we are looking, so Giddens and Walker are probably our most interesting chips at this point.

It's time for a night off for Paul anyways....we all know he's a warrior, but this is an ungoing problem with his knees that has been plaguing his play most of the season...get some rest captain, please
