When i cked the Cavs schedule, they haven't played many top tier teams so far. They played NO once,Celts twice,Houston once. The rest of the teams they've played so far are considered 2nd and third tier teams.I noticed on the week of the 18th thru the 24th of Jan.,they will be road tested out west by LA,Portland,GS,and Utah. After that trip we will see if they are still the hot team a lot of people think they are. There schedule so far is similar to the season we had last yr. in the first half.

Sorry guys. I had to bring this out again. As much as I'd like to say I feel differently than I did 4 months ago, I can't. The Cavs are a deeper team and Lebron is now so much better across the board than he was that we won't beat them in a 7 game series. KG or not. They are healthier, (Big Ben wasn't going to make much of a difference either way) , younger, hungrier,  play better defense than we do now, and have lost that awe that they had of us. I would love to be proven wrong, but that's not likely...

Oh, ye of little faith.

I'm not going to completely try and shoot down your points from January or today, however, I am definitely holding off judgment until we A) Play them in the ECF with a healthy KG and B) See if in said series we hold a lead after Game 5.

Once I see us in that series after all of our home games, I'll make that prediction.  A LOT will be anwered about our health and heart by this point and I still say that our destiny is controlled by us and not them.

Eternal optimist here but the Cavs are a completely different team on the road. If we can get ONE in Cleveland, I will say we have a good a chance as anybody of knocking this team off. Then again if Lebron is nailing 5 or 6 treys a game in the playoffs like he did today, NO ONE has a shot. Luckily I dont see that happening.

all it takes is one and it cant be game 7...it will have to be one or two...i do think the cavs arent as strong on the road as they are at home but boston has to get an early one in cleveland...but IF it is the cavs vs the lakers...LA wins...don't see the cavs having any answer for gasol, bynum and odom in a 7 game series

If you wait until we are in the series with them and played all our home games then you really don't need faith at that point now do you. It would likely be over by then. You would then have a perfect knowledge... ;D

Anyway. They are a better team than they were last year. We are at best the same. It took a big shot in our own building with our captain playing out of his mind to beat them in 7 games at our best last year. We are not as healthy and a completely healthy KG isn't very likely the rest of this year. I want nothing more than #18, but it just isn't going to happen I am afraid.

i want to believe they can win in cleveland...just don't see it happening after the last 2 years of playing there...would rather have the cavs win it than LA i guess

That was good. But all I'm saying is, if we steal one of the first two or everyone is just winning home games but the C's have momentum swinging there way, I'd still have to go out on a limb to predict a certain win in Cleveland in Game 7 or say that they will beat us in Boston in Game 6.  Right?

I don't disagree. I am not saying we CAN'T beat them, but with our health as it is and the fact that they are playing last years Celtics defense along with as good of an offense, we are likely in trouble. We are going to have to start playing harder defense or this won't happen. We split the season series with them so there is a chance, but trying to look at it objectively it doesn't look good. At least in the other series this should tick them off though. I wouldn't mind seeing someone take a few of their guys out. I am starting to really not like Lebron.

this is disgusting. we've killed with injuries and still win 60, and our players are scheduled to come back for the beginning of the playoffs... yet when we lose a meaningless game with Cleveland (a team we beat without KG) we're hopeless against them. What would have been the difference today if we had a 50% KG? i think it would have been closer, otherwise your saying BBD is more than half the man Kevin is (which he isn't) or maybe your saying that Mikki Moore is our glaring weakness? well how about when we have Leon and Baby to battle Joe Smith in the second unit matchup?

I believe that the CAVS are eerily similar to us last year. Remember that they didn't have a completely healthy Z last year and he is a very under rated player. Mo Williams was a big pickup. Most importantly though they play the hungry ferocious defense that we did last year. When was the last time you saw us come out with the defensive intensity in the first and third quarters like we used to? We used to win games in the first and third. Now we almost always are playing from behind because we can't come out focused. Even against bad teams. Say what you will, but there is no question they don't have the same level of hunger as they did last year. If you think they can just flip a switch in the EC finals you are sadly mistaken. You can't flip switches against teams that are as good or better than you are.

And in personal thinking
Isnt that what Atlanta does against us last year and almost beat us
ANY team can have 4 games of glory
Ask Golden State
In our  case the difference in talent between both teams is really little
even with people coming back from injuries *Not that injuried anymore
Once a CrotorNat always a CROTORNAT  2 times CB draft Champion 2009-2012

Nice to be back!

Mo Williams hasn't done a [dang] thing in the playoffs yet and they won't beat the Lakers if they make it.
