Celtics Defensive Rating

stumbled accross the league leaders for DefRtg. our presence on this list is very exciting.

(defensive rating is points allowed per 100 possessions)

1.  Dwight Howard-ORL 93.3
2.  Kevin Garnett-BOS 93.7
3.  Ben Wallace-CLE 95.3
4.  LeBron James-CLE 96.0
5.  Rajon Rondo-BOS 96.0
6.  Anderson Varejao-CLE 96.2
7.  Kendrick Perkins-BOS 96.2
8.  Tony Allen-BOS 96.9
9.  Marcus Camby-LAC 98.0
10. Zydrunas Ilgauskas-CLE 98.1
11. Lamar Odom-LAL 99.2

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Everyone, but Ray from our starting lineup, and Tony from the bench. Rondo and KG both top 5. Very Impressive!

I'm a bit shocked to see Ben Wallace still on the list. Not to shocked to see Lebron, but wasn't expecting top 5. Very surprised to see Tim Duncan so low. Also quite amazing two Lakers made the list, and not one is named Kobe Bryant.

I don't think it's a coincidence that each of the top 3 teams have multiple players on the list. 4 players for both Boston and Cleveland made the top 10 with 2 Lakers in the 11th and 12th spots respectively.
