It is interesting hearing all the buzz about the Hornets players getting tired of Byron Scott after he beat out Doc for coach of the year.

I consider this evidence that we underestimate the contributions of coaches on talented teams, whether it be Doc, Phil Jackson, etc. Doc was willing to give players games off, even if it made them a little less prepared for the next game. He isn't a control freak. Unless some evidence comes out to dispel the Scott rumors, I'll start to feel Doc got cheated last year.

I would love to hear Posey's take, but I can't see him discussing that in public.
