Does every player who ever played for the Sox get inducted into their Hall of Fame?

Yeh, apparently they do this every year so there are only so many MLB Hall of Famers to go through.

It's prime time Dave Stapleton made it in.

Stapleton's exclusion from the Sox HOF is a travesty.

Did anybody see that wacky interview Lee gave the other day about how it was the fault of the Boston media, who were actually tricked by NY's media into driving Manny out of Boston? He's one step away from getting his own public-access one man show where he can unabashedly spew out his half baked conspiracy theories as fact.

He seems like he'd be fun to have a beer/whatever with, though.

Oops. :-[

I just assumed that the link was the induction ceremony. But you know what you do when you assume...

As for his Manny rant, I agree with almost none of it; though it would not surprise me to find out that McCarver hates Boston.

That was a rant for the ages.

Anyway, here's an interesting tidbit I discovered when I googled Tommy Harper (I wanted to read more about the situation Lee had alluded to):

It was reported in a 2006 Boston Globe article that Ellis Burks vowed at the recent winter meetings to one day return to the Red Sox as their first ever black manager. Just an interesting bit of information to keep in mind when the day comes that the Sox look for a new manager (hopefully in the distant future).
