3 words, and I don't care if anyone else said it: "You called it."

Probably one of the most over rated players in New England sports history.

How this guy continues to get a free pass is beyond me.

If you want to pull the "look how he handles this pitching staff" argument, look no further than the position this team is in right now. The Sox should have had his replacement lined up already.

free pass to game 7....

TPs for all the positive people out there.  Way to earn that C Tek, let's do it one more time tomorrow.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Tek needs to go.  He couldn't hit a Little League pitcher, he couldn't throw Perk out if he was trying to steal second, and the staff that he "manages so well" is getting shelled day in and day out.

That being said, he is past his prime, not overrated.  In his day he was one of the best in this league.  He was in integral part of two rings.

I'm going yes with this poll.  I said it during Game 2, he's going to hit a big home run at some point in this series.

I already gave the appropriate TPs, so I'm tooting my own horn here.  Only because I called it at the beginning of the series.

I don't deserve TPs for calling myself out so please don't give me any for this  :P....love this team, do it again tomorrow baby.

Who thinks Varitek is going to come up big in game 6 or 7 with a game changing play or hit??

Are you a psychic? Or did you make this happen? Are you God ???

That's the difference with the Pats and the Sox.  BB does not get tied up in emotion.  He would not have brought Lowell back.

Oh come on!  Theo parted ways with Nomar, DLowe, Pedro, Damon and Manny.  If you think he gets caught up in emotion, you don't know what emotion is, my friend.

There are a couple of differences.

That said, kudos to the captain.  Hope he can come through again and then go out on high terms.

Manny was traded because he became a cancer, not the same thing.  He traded Nomar and upgraded the clubhouse. He's the closest to your rebuttal there is, even though he had become bad news in the clubhouse as well.

Lowe, Pedro, and Damon were all lost due to free agency, that the Sox bid heavily on and were a bit upset when they lost out on (well maybe not Lowe).
