I respect your opinion, and am sympathetic to your viewpoint.  TP competitiveness ruined some relationships on here, I think, and caused some people to leave the blog, and others to become very disenchanted.

That being said, Redz' intent in starting the thread was good, and for a long time, things were fine with it.  If members wanted to start it up again, I doubt the staff would have much interest in helping out, but we wouldn't prohibit it, either.

I didn't know there were any issues involving this thread... My apologies for digging it up. I just wanted to see exactly how many Tommy Points I had received over that period of time because I knew it had to have been a lot. My bad guys!!

In all seriousness, I don't see the problem with keeping this around any more than any other dead thread.  No one's ever going to update it.  If someone wants to look at it, swell.

I had 312 TPs the last time this thread was updated less than a year ago... that's crazy.

long story short....some people complained about tp's, the staff chose to diffuse the situation by inflating numerous members' tp's by a large margin to basically show that tp's dont mean anything....thus, the increase in tp's over the period of time and this thread being virtually dead since then.
