Gabe Pruitt, if he can score like he did in the D League or even half that it opens the C's offense up to a whole new level. Rondo/Pruitt would be an unmatchable duo in transition game and allow Allen/Pierce to get their mins below 35/game.

I'm surprised POB got so few votes.... Don't we want to see what our back up center has got? Pretty much no one has seen him play, and yet the bulk of votes go to a rookie from the second round???

Well.

Im excited to see Walker play just because of everythings thats been written and said about him.

However, the biggest concern I have is backing up the center position.  So I'm very interested in seeing what POB can do.

I'd also love to get a chance to see one of TA, Giddens, or Walker get a chance to guard Iggy before he leaves, if not all three of them get a shot.  I know Iggy wont be in long, but I hope Doc plays Pierce even less to see how the SF position is handled with Phillys starter still in the game.

Okay, so we already have 'Big Baby':  should we also talk about 'Little Gaby'?

I'm most excited to see Sam Cassell.

No, not really.

GO PATRICK O'BRYANT!!

Also, I'm excited to see to learn by heart the new numbers that the new Celtics will be wearing. Did Bryant Stith wear number 12? or was it a single digit number?

Wishful thinking perhaps, but Sam could well be a pleasant surprise this year with a camp under his belt (not that I'm super excited about seeing him make his Celtics preseason debut or that it would take much for him to improve on his Celtics career thus far)
Yup

  • Hinrich sucks, Deng sucks, Bulls suck, I'm out.
I'd have to say it's a 3way tie between Dmiles T.A. and Walker.

I really don't think we are going to be able to tell much about Tony during the preseason.  He likely will light it up, and show that he is back to full health, but what we really need to see is whether he can play a certain role in limited minutes, while maintaining his focus.  We won't know that until they start running the real rotations, and his role is cut down a bit.

To see that he´s back to full health would be a great first step.
Full health is the Prerequisite for his impact on this team and allows us to judge him like every other player. No excuses for bad performances and it´s indispensable if he wants to have a bigger role on the team.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Since he arrived in Boston! Rajon Rondo, future all star.
Then Tony Allen, hoping he's looking healthy and playing within himself.
Then Ray Allen smmmooooooooth and I expect even more from him this year.
Lastly Obie playing with starters, lets see what the kid has
