Early hours then. 8pm would be 1am for me. That seems to be the best time for all involved from what I'm being told, so I could make the effort for that.

Is 2000ET on Thursday 14th October good for everyone then?

Did you mean TUESDAY the 14th or THURSDAY the 16th?  Either is actually fine for me (surprisingly enough) I just want to make sure we're all on the same page.

And thanks for putting this together and herding everyone, CM!  TP for you.  My keeper leagues' draft last year was like pulling teeth -- we have folks in Japan, England and both US coasts ... ugh.  Surprisingly this year we were able to get it all together fairly quickly.

(FWIW - i found http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html useful for converting everyone's time.

I mean Thursday 16th October.

I'll be glad when everything is sorted though, it's annoying in a way because with people dotted all over the globe there needs to be a lot of compromising. Certainly more effort than I'd hoped for, but will be worth it in the end when I walk away with bragging rights.

So at the moment it's Thu Oct 16 2000ET. Hopefully that's good for everyone.

I don't know how much computer time I'm going to end up having tonight.  I'll do my best.  I'm mainly working on the theory that my wife wouldn't be so keen on me dominating both the TV and the computer (we have 1 of each).

I've sort of worn out my "honey I have a fantasy draft" welcome for the season already by having her switch a night off for my roto auction coming up.

Any idea how much time is allowed between picks?
Yup

I think 90 seconds.

Rats...probably too quick for me to not be REALLLY annoying asking my wife if she would mind getting up for a second so I can make my pick.

Yeah...  and most people will make their picks quicker than that, meaning you'd be constantly up and down.

Then I'd be down for the count after my wife mallets me over the head and I'd get to do neither!

A man's gotta know his limitations, I suppose.  I'll do my bestest.

Actually, the Sox probably won't start til 8:15 so I can get a few picks in.
Yup

Gomesfan you're the first person that will be made aware of any roster spaces. I did a yahoo draft yesterday and it was done inside of an hour, so hopefully around about the same tonight.
