Brandon Wallace?  He was taller than Pierce, could rebound, and play defense.

Has no NBA experience.  He would just be a third rookie the Celtics are hoping could become a roll player at the 2/3.

Darius Miles has more talent then anyone on the Celtics bench or on the poll of free agents. Ive seen him play up close and I would take him at 80% health over scal, pruitt, or any of the other free agents listed. Even if he is not as athletic as he used to be, he is still more athletic then scal could ever be. He has a long body for playing defense and blocking shots. IS a scorer (47 points in a game), and before his injury was playing the best he had ever played. If his head is on straight and he puts in the effort, he should be the best player coming off our bench.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

TP for you Goldstar.  ;)

And if not Miles, then give the minutes to the rookies.

So was Gerald Green and we all know how that worked out. ;D

Seriously, good points about Miles. I think he works his butt off and makes a decent contribution from the second unit. At least I hope he is healthy enough to make that contribution. If he makes the team, he will make us better. Danny, Doc, and the big three dont allow him to stick around if he cant. Why would they with a couple of hungry talented rookies?

I dont think the head on straight is even gonna be an issue, again the aforementioned will not allow it to be IMHO. That as they say, is "Ancient History". 8)
