Pretty ballsy move by Madden to bring Balfour in to face Papi with 2 outs on the 5th.  The biggest out of the game isn't always late. Great read by Madden.

Gotta give a few Tommy Points to the Rays for looking every bit like the very good baseball team that they have been over the last two series with the Sox and for the year as a whole. Good for them.

I still, unfortunately, think they may lose the division because they have to go out and play their last 4 home games versus a very good Minnesota team vying for a playoff spot and then their last 8 games all on the road where they have lost 7 of their last 10.

Meanwhile the Sox, after 3 games in Toronto, go home where they have the least amount of home losses in Major League Baseball. This could be a very, very tight last week of the season for the division crown.

Oh, and the magic number to eliminate the Yankees from postseason consideration is down to 3.
