A multiyear deal, according to ESPN. Terms undisclosed.

Mo Williams, Daniel Gibson, and Delonte makes three to share the available backcourt minutes on Team LeBron. Will Delonte get more than 20 minutes a night?

Wally to be traded as soon as possible (probably they'll wait till the trade deadline though) and Delonte to start at the 2. Gibson to come as the energetic scoring threat off the bench.

Hmmm.. with Wally gone (within a year), that does make an interesting 3 guard mix for the the 1/2 minutes. Still, thats a lot of bread spread between 3 guys that are barely starting quality.

None of those guys are good defenders and none of them have any size. They all are streak shooters.

You can also add Sasha Pavlovic to the SG rotation, as well as new FA signee Terence Kinsey.

That's a ton of "bread spread," as Mr. October puts it, at the 2-spot.

Yup. ...Although I think Delonte is passable on D due to his hustle. Its kind of weird watching Cleveland bury themselves with terrible contracts. Its like they want to become the Knicks, while the Knicks try to lure Lebron away...

ouch, I was really hoping that West wouldn't sign back with them.  They are going to be very dangerous next year.

This Cleveland team is a lock to go to the ECF.

They are thin up front and Z is due for another foot injury. They loose to Orlando in the 1st round.

I'm not so sure. They essentially traded Joe Smith, their only frontcourt player with a shred of scoring ability outside of Z, for Mo Williams. So while they have the scoring/shooting PG they've always wanted to put alongside LeBron, they're incredibly thin down low.

Outside of Z, the corpse of Ben Wallace, and Sideshow Varejao, they've got a rookie (Hickson) and retreads like Dwayne Jones, Lance Allred, and Lo Wright playing at the 4 and 5 spots.

If they can somehow turn Wally World into a decent two-way big man, then I start thinking about the Cavs in the ECF. Until then, my money is on Detroit to win the Central.

Good for him.

I'm suprised he was even out there that long considering he was one of their best players, besides James of course, when they played the Celtics in the playoffs.  Cleveland is going he same route they have done the past couple years.  Do whatever they can to show LeBron they want to contend while trying to save any money then can.

good for delonte. i bear him no ill will.

good for the celtics. if delonte is starting for a team that has championship aspirations, then they obviously have trouble.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

They were the most physical team we faced on defense and on the boards in our run last year.  You gotta respect that from a team with the world's greatest player.

Too bad Delonte didn't make it back here, but good going on a longer contract, buddy!  When he was in Green, he was the best shot blocking point guard I've seen, (even if most of them were when the defender was on the way up, but whatever, he was awesome at anticipating those ones.)

All Hail Delonte!  Hustling and throwing himself around the court like #33!

Go Celts!
"You're skating on pretty thin ice around here, McGee!"
"Sounds like the ice's problem."
