Did anyone else see that during the rundown?  I mean, what do they think.  It's not like the Celtics aged 5 years from June to today's date.  Now if they said they didn't think the celtics would repeat because it is difficult then I can understand their point.  But to say their too old is just bad reporting.  It's not much, but stories about the Celitcs are slow these days.

actually it wasn't Adande who answerd the question. it was Toni Kor...(no clue how to spell his name)

he said he doesn't care about basketball because football is coming up.
plus he is not an NBA expert and does not know a thing about basketball.

plus guys, we learned in the finals that these so called experts dont know a thing, would love for this team to prove them wrong again.

Adande definitely commented on the subject on either the 6pm SportsCenter  PTI segment or during the regular show.

That's exactly right.  They did get much much younger and are more athletic with their two draft pics.  There was no one last year that can give you those out of the seat dunks except for a few Garnett ones and Tony Allen in the last playoff game against the Lakers.  They will change with Walker and Giddens for sure.

I can't quote anything, but I remember hearing early in the season how weak our bench was, and even through out the year after picking up Cassell and PJ Brown that we still didn't have enough fire power to win it all. The Big 3 were perfectly coached in the playoffs and season to not get too many minutes, and they still have alot of gas left to make a repeat. I think we're better off this summer than we were last. We've only really lost 3 of the guys we picked up last season, but we've added some young talent, our young players have more experience, and our team is fired up for a new dynasty, not just one successful season.
Can't stop, Rondo!

Wilbon is the NBA guy

I think he picked the Celtics to win the finals this past year, correct me if I'm wrong

So just the wrong day to ask that question I guess

J(ack) A(ss) Adande couldn't have been more wrong about how the 2008 Finals between the Cs and his beloved Lakers were going to go.  He might be thinking that the Lakers will be a lot stronger with unproven 21 year old center Andrew Bynum patrolling the paint instead of Spanish Cotton Candy (Gasol).

Let's see if the Lakers can get out of the West before crowning them the champs, JA.
