Bah!  I hate waiting!  Time to institute last year's ever-popular "ten minute rule". ;)

Hell yeah way to drop the hammer Roy.
I thought it was the 15 minute rule though?
Anyway last year if the GM who held the pick now on the clock was online for 15 minutes he had to pick regardless of when his pick was due (it was only instituted for the later rounds).

We can do that, but I will not enforce it.  I will let the other GMs enforce it.

And someone would have to PM every GM and let them know.

p.s.  I am also extending the 5 second rule to 10 seconds.
Wait what is the 5 seconds rule?

Food on the floor.

Sometimes, those seconds tick by *really* slowly when you're a bachelor and there are no witnesses...  ;)

You see what happens when we go close to 48 hours without a pick?

That's funny.  In a home with a 2 year old and clean freak wife, those seconds tick really fast.

there's no 5 second rule if no one's around. It's like a tree falling in the forest. If a piece of candy falls on the ground and no one is there to see it (except you) then it doesn't really fall.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Good news, the Orlando Magic have put their violin on the trading block --- now available for a 14th round pick.  8)

Appologies too for not picking ... a combo of my monitor dying, family crisis and slow communication on a potential trade.

I had to over rule my 3 year old on a 5 second rule call.  The other day she dropped a cocktail shrimp on the ground and picked it up, ready to eat it.  I told her the 5 second rule wasn't such a goos idea for wet stuff landing on a dirty surface.   :P
Yup

posted this as a separate thread, but figured I'd copy and past it here as well:

Unexpectedly, but not unhappily, I will be taking a vacation this week from Wednesday through Sunday where i will have limited internet access. Therefore I will not be able to draft for my team, the Indiana Pacers. I am now accepting applications for assistant GM who will be in charge of drafting from Wed-Fri (Rounds 8-10 I believe). Competitive wage and great benefits.

Right now my team is:

1. Derek Rose
2. Monta Ellis
3. -----
4. Rasheed Wallace
5. Samuel Dalemebert

Please PM me w/ interests. Please also include the type of player you think we should take at the small forward to solidify the starting 5. The person who most closely resembles my own thoughts will be given the title of Assistant to the General Manager.

Still gotta wait for wdleehi to approve the trade so it'll probably be tomorrow morning when I make my pick. Unless he ok's the deal in the next 20 minutes.

I'd hope so since it's been 60 hours since the last pick...

Ouch.  Looks like trade value in this round just went up significantly.
