wow, how he got that kind of money, i will nver understand.

the guy is awful.

i have never seen a player get boo'd in LA for his poor play.
their fans do not speak out like they do in boston, NYC, or philly, so it sais a lot how bad he is

You may very well have been making this thread name in jest, but I am very tired of people's nasty comments about Danny and the job he is doing. He just brought us a championship people!! Can't we have a few bad years and sub-par efforts falling short before we bring out the torches and storm the mansion! Stop spreading the hate. We should all still be on a banner 17 high...

The pistons needed someone that can actually play the C position(catch rebounds, block a shot a game, make open dunks) But I don't see why they would take someone for that price. Theo Ratliff would have done the same thing for 1/4 of the price. Oh well. Their loss. Let them waste their money on talentless unproven players so we can blow past them again for our repeat this year.
Can't stop, Rondo!

just keeps living on his past laurels with KG and Ray, etc.  geez Danny, a former #1 pick who has SOOOOOOOOOOOO  much potential for only a cool $16M.  say it ain't so Danny!

Had me convinced for a minute, thought you really meant he was worth that kind of money. Rather have POB. Questionable signing for the Pistons, but makes no sense for the C's. With Perk and POB you need a someone who can bring solid experience. At least the Pistons have vet bigs that can keep him in line. Danny's comments about bringing in a veteran big make you think he already has someone in mind. POB needs to develop some toughness; but will surprise some people.

Clipps did get a good deal on Davis however - not bad if Davis can get him with the program.
(no desire to see him in green)

Uh, no.

Not after acquiring Garnett and Ray-Ray.

No excuse for settling for anything less than another championship run. Any move or lack therof that diminishes that is unacceptable.

Man the Pistons are showing desperation by this move, it only makes our chances of green 18 that much better

Sarcasm?  Hate Danny?  Ummmmmmmmmm, No I do not hate Danny and I was just trying to be funny.  I love Danny.

I think its great the Pistons wasted their time and money on Kwame Brown.  I wish they would've signed Ricky Davis, too.

I was getting tired of Danny taking so much heat for not doling out $50M for James Posey from so many C's fans.  I loved what Posey did for us last year........for $3M per year.

The C's are in good hands with Danny Ainge.  I hope and pray that 20 years from now we will look back and see that Danny was the second coming, or a close facsimile, of Red.

Amen. I hope that 20 years and a few more championships from now, we add a bronze statue of Danny near Red's in the Quincy Market area, except Danny will be drinking a milkshake (There Will Be Blood reference) instead of the cigar (since Danny is LDS and all).

As a fellow BYU grad, Danny is making me proud.
