Nice work Redz.

P.S. Memphis is still willing to move down in the 2nd round, but hasn't received the right offer.

  • The good ole days.
good picks good picks everyone, but i'm still baffled at the monta ellis pick. redd slipping that far is a shocker. theres a few other players till undrafted that i would draft much higher than some of these players.

Why do people think Redd "fell" to the early 2nd round?  I think that is still too high for him in a draft like this.

I think late 1st, early 2nd is about where he'd fall.  At least in my eyes.

Yeah, last year he went right around #40.  Where ever "New Jersey" is in reverse-alphabetical  order of the NBA teams.

Much as it hurts to say since they are conference rivals but I like Roy's team. Young and athletic. Interesting mix so far.

Thanks.  There were maybe better players on the board at #32 than Rudy Gay, but I loved how he fit in with my core.  I'm not just trying to draft the best players, but the ones who fit the best into a common scheme.  So far, so good, hopefully.

Nice job, Redz!  It looks fabulous, and seems to function, as well.  Good work.

One small quibble (which I may be mistaken on):  isn't "Tehran Lakers" the owner of the Lakers, rather than just Robb?  I think cordobes has access to that team, as well, which is why they have the joint account for the draft.

Just working off the Commish's names on the draft list.  I'll leave it up to them I guess, but I can only have it link up to one PM.  Though I guess I could have the image go to one owner and the name go to another ;)

Thanks.  I don;t know if we can bookmark it somehow, but I figure it will be pretty useful for looking up owners to PM for trades and such.

I think they both access the "Tehran Lakers" username, is what I was trying to (unclearly) get at.  That's both a team name, and a user name.

As far as I know, there weren't any resignations among owners this morning, but I wasn't available for much of the draft, either.

AP- The Fake Phoenix Suns' CEO and Chief of Basketball operations, Alex Grady, recently commented on his team's first two choices. "Well, we're going to build the team the right way. People say there was better talent on the board, and but I say they're short sighted. I'm going to pick a basketball team that is strong both on the court and off the court. Brandon Roy is a hell of a guy. A real stand up, but no comedian. And Caron Butler, well I guess they call him "tough juice", and let me tell you folks, thats enough for me." When asked about leaving acclaimed and versatile scorer Tracy McGrady on the board, he had only one comment. "His nickname is T-Mac. I think he's got it tattoed on his body somewhere. T-Mac. You gotta be kidding me."

You realize he was a fairly notrious coke dealer in Racine, Wisconsin... right?

haha even still you should have seen the dunks he put on against our varsity high school team they were sick not making what he did right since I was in 6th grade when he was a senior I believe. I can't remember oh well Jamil Wilson will be better than Butler anyways mark my words...for those of you that don't know Jamil I'd look him up ;)  Sorry I'm being random and going to high school basketball of Wisconsin...this is about our fantasy draft haha.

btw, out of all of those mini logo images I'd have to go with the Rockets or the Bulls as showing up the best.  Unfortunately our beloved Celtics logo doesn't show up so well on the 30x30 pixel jobber.  I;m guessing my Thunder image will suck too when/if the decide on one.

I'm thinking they should just go with:
