As long as Ray continues to wear his magic sleeve, we should be fine.

ray allen will be good no doubt. However when his contract runs out look for posey situation #2. Ideally i had a feeling if ainge didn't have to give up the 5th pick he could have still had delonte west and jeff green or al thornton to play alongisde pierce and kg.

Ainge knowing allens injury history, age etc prob won't offer him more than a 1 or maybe 2 year 10 million each year(prob an insult to ray allen)

I expect this to be his last year and unless we tank it last place this year he will remain a celtic

I really think ray allen will have a better year next year, The reason why is rajon rondo. I really felt as rajon was getting more experience he was making quicker decisions and getting the ball to ray in better spots, i.e game 6 of the finals series. Posting this cos there seems to be alot of trade ray allen threads appearing. I realize ray isn't getting younger put I don't feel that this game is built on athletism anyways.

while we all hope he is better, saying he is going to be better as a fact is ridiculous.

Its about time someone made a post for ray ray. Dont' trade him and stop talking about trading him. he did his job, was out standing, out played kobe, and made some big shots. keep him and lets win another ring.
Can't stop, Rondo!

I want to keep Ray Allen until he is 40.  He will never stop hitting clutch 3's and clutch foul shots.

I am not buying into the whole 'break up B3' before their contracts run out.  If we win 2 or 3 titles in the next 4 years, we should attempt to re-sign each one of them at more modest contracts, and keep it going.

Their body types, (lack of) injury history, and the individual games of each - all are in their favor of playing at a high level into their late 30s.

Between the 'trade ray allen' and 'bring back antoine' threads i thought i was going to loose my mind.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ray resigned at a lower salary and stayed a Celtic for 3 or 4 more years. It's just way to early to tell either way.
