It seems that like last year the Celtics are going to wait until the end of free agency and then pick up what ever they need at bargain basement prices.

i dont fully agree with this.  they have said from the beginning that posey is their guy.  posey has yet to sign with anyone.  there have been rumors of him signing or close to it, with numerous different teams.  agents list teams to help their client play off the other teams in an attempt to get the more disirable contract.

however, if you are correct in your assumption, i say jason williams.

how about michael finley hes about the closest you could get to posey whos still avalable you could probably get him for the LLE say 2yrs $4m
Actually, the closest thing you can get to Posey at this point is Tony Allen, FWIW. Scary thought, no? :)

holly cow batman there should someone besides tony defense no offence and finley offense but no defese. is patterson a free agent?
